CMA Music Festival Recap

Mallary had an unforgettable first CMA Music Festival. She played catcher in the City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge, signed for fans at 7 different booths, had her first fan party, performed on the Chevy stage, the Country Music for Soul Concert and sang karaoke with fans. There was always a line for her signings and she even had a hopeful line at the Chevy booth. Her performance on the Chevy Stage was her first with a full band and they sounded amazing together! It was hard to believe they had only rehearsed together one time before performing. The setlist included “I’m A Girl,” “Times Like These,” “Wise Beyond her Tears,” “Love Lives On,” and “Blossom in the Dust.” At her fan party, Mallary sang an acoustic set and chatted with fans. A lot of fun was had by all. Photos and videos will be up very soon.

A special thank you to all the street teamers who passed out fliers in the extreme heat and supported Mallary all week!

@CountryMusicGW to continue to write about real life, hoping that the music we create can help others in whatever way they need it

@CountryMusicGW i hope that im conveying truth. songs are another form of storytelling. I’ve always found such peace & comfort in music.

@CountryMusicGW i love writing about my family, and hearing that someone else out there is going through the same thing. that my little ol

@CountryMusicGW the soul, it ain’t worth listening to” im so grateful that i grew up singing in church & being able to feel the songs i sing

@CountryMusicGW because i really do feel them, and i don’t beat myself up if i sing off key because at the end of the show i would hope

@CountryMusicGW the thing people walk away saying is “mal really felt that song- and it made me feel it too”

@CountryMusicGW music did.. seriously.. it’s not something i picked.. as strange as it sounds.. it picked me.. when i was 2 years old

@CountryMusicGW blossom is a song inspired by a girl that i grew up with. her name is rose & we took from her life & added to it. Wanted

@CountryMusicGW to make a positive ending & bring awareness to adoption so we embellished on the ending

@CountryMusicGW being able to meet people who easily turn into friends& being a girl from a small town in Georgia, when i went to California

@CountryMusicGW and the audience sang my songs back to me- it totally made me cry. that just blows my ever loving mind. from Georgia to cali

@CountryMusicGW oh gosh!! that is a tuffy. probably wise beyond her tears.. and love lives on- because they are about my sisters & it’s real

@CountryMusicGW see people crying which makes me want to stop, jump off the stage & hug them..i love being able to make music that does that
